The second pic in my universal monsters series. right after creature from the black lagoon. this is my 2nd favorite universal monster movie, that and of course frankenstein. so I hope everone likes my companion pic to my creature from the black lagoon. next will be frankenstein!!

the background was done in 8 different lays, I wanted the pic to have the animated feel so I knew that one had to have the painted look, so the figure stood out more. So using some nature pics as a guide as well, I went about creating a cold dark environment for Drac to be in. I layed over some real branches and then painted them with two different brushes to get the desired effect I was looking for with some cold dark blues.
