Hey guys, I know it's been awhile, so I just wanted to give everyone a quick update about my ongoing fight with the cancer.  I just had another new PET Scan, we wanted to make sure the 6 Tumors were still shrinking and had responded to the last round of chemo, especially since I wasn't using a few of the chemo drugs since I hit my lifetime limit on them.

I'm feeling good right now, no sickness and no nausea. I saw the doctor today to go over the test results and plan for the next round of chemo. According to the Doc, the 6 tumors have once again showed signs of shrinking, I think the cancer is starting to realize I plan on kicking it's ass in this current battle, it's only going to be total defeat once I'm done with it. So that was the great news, but I also found out that I need to take some further steps in the war. For one, I had a new tumor grow in my right arm, it's in the inner part of the arm where you bend the arm. That tumor is a pretty good size and I'm going to have a operation in the next couple of weeks to remove that one because of it's location.

The plan is to remove that tumor, give my body a couple of weeks to heal from the operation and then start the chemo again to fight the 6 other tumors.  I should go thru a few more months of chemo and then will have another PET scan to see how much smaller they have gotten, I say smaller, because I refuse to allow the tumors to do anything but shrink.  After that, the PET scan will tell us if we need to start the radiation treatment.

I mentioned before that I thought the three operations to remove the 6 tumors would happen some time this fall, but with the new round of chemo delayed to remove this tumor in my right arm and a few weeks to heal, it looks like I might not have those other operations till this spring. No big deal, just a delay in my victory.

I've been going thru this round of chemo for these new tumors since last Sept, so a little delay is no big deal, plus I can use the time I'm healing from the operation on my right arm to hopefully get a lot of art done, I'm just not sure yet on how my arm will be after this operation. The tumor they are removing is by the joint where I bend my arm. As you guys know, this is one of many operations I have had over the last 4yrs battling this cancer. I've had over 10 tumors surgically removed during this time, I just stay focused and positive and not let it get to me. I just know each of these operations gets me closer to total victory.

I was happy to hear the great news and the Doc is extremely happy since my type of rare Cancer usually never responds to chemo.  As long as they keep shrinking, this will make the operation to remove the tumor attached to my right hip bone easier. The smaller that tumor is the better. That prevents them from having to cut off that much of the bone and replace it with metal, plus it will make it easier to remove the 5 other tumors that are scattered throughout my body.

As always, a huge thanks to everyone for your great support and kind words, It means a lot. You'll be seeing more art soon. My hard drive on my computer crashed and I lost a few pics including some commissions.  It's put me behind a little, but I'm slowly catching up.

I'll have another update after the operation on my right arm to remove that one tumor is done, by then I'll know about the next round of chemo and how my arm responded to the operation and my schedule on everything for those further chemo sessions.

I'm getting closer to finally ending this 4yr battle with the cancer and I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone for the great support during those years! Along with my family and friends, you guys help keep me focused as I fight this battle. Like I always say, I've still got plenty of things to do and and people to piss off, so I'm not giving up. I've beaten this cancer 5 times before, so this is just another battle for me to win.
