Thanx again to everyone for your support, prayers and as always your kind words. I wanted to update everyone and just let you know whats been going on and what I've been up to.

I'm about a month into the Chemo treatments, like I mentioned before this new round isn't as rough as the previous batch I had last year, but I've actually had a lot more side effects with this type I've been recieving. The treatment itself and dealing with the effects of it have been the fun, but in the end it will be worth it. Basically I have days where I can feel all my bones and they hurt along with my joints. I've been trying to keep up on drawing, but there have been a few days where I couldn't hold a pencil.

Just like with the last chemo, the hair is going, I think in about a week it will be completely gone and I'll once again look like Rufus from Kim Possible. I'm looking towards the end, which will either be the end of August or Sept, it just depends on how my body keeps responding to the treatment.

I've had a few bad reactions to the chemo, but they are pumping it into at a slower rate, which makes the day longer, but like I mentioned before, I've bought the paper, pencil and some water colors with me, it helps make the day go by and keeps me busy, on an average. I'm there about 6hrs each day.

I'll have another scan this August just to see how I'm looking, it will either be a PET or MRI scan, but the Doc likes the PET scan so I'm expecting that and they will determine how much longer I'll have the chemo. Of course the scan I have in Jan is always the most important anyway, that when they always find a new tumors, thats why I think this new batch of chemo will make the difference since I'm taking it longer and will give me a clear scan. The more aggressive we can be now, will make the difference down the road.

I'm 100% from the operation I had in March, the body is all healed and all that I'm left with is the scars on my hip and back where they removed the two most recent tumors. I had a scan right before this chemo began and I had the all clear on that one.

The chemo isn't fun, but no matter how bad it seems, I know it will be worth it done the road and will make the difference. The pain means nothing when the end result is another all clear on the new scan and I win the war. I have a great batch of nurses watching me and this is actually a new Hematologist Oncologist I'm working with. I was recommended him because he's more familar with the rare type of cancer I have. He really knows his stuff and I like that. I'm also still seeing my main Doc, who just performed the surgery, he's keeping involved and plus if I do require any more operations, I want to be able to work with him again since he did a great job the last time.  He's basically overseeing the treatment and I'll meet with him this August.

I'll keep the updates coming, especially once I know more and have that new scan. I'll let you know the results, which will be another all clear, I can feel it. As for the radiation treatment, I'm still not sure on that, they are still talking about it, but that won't happen until the chemo is done, so I might not know anything about that until August.

As always, you guys rock for all the great support as I continue this battle. I can't thank you enough for all the kind words, you guys and my family help keep me strong and focused on my goals. It's been a two and a half year war, but I'm getting closer to the final battle. I'll continue to kick this cancer's ass all over the place, as for the War and my five operations, the current battle total is Chad 5, Cancer 0
