Hey guys, I hope everyone is doing great, I wanted to give everyone a quick update. I wanted to let everyone know how things were going and what I have been up too. As always thanks to everyone for all the amazing support and kind words from my last journal.

Since that last journal, I have been busy fighting the cancer and went thru a couple of more chemo sessions. I just had a new one a couple of weeks ago and while I was going thru that session, which is over a week. I noticed that I was having trouble breathing and a couple of times nearly passed out. During a session, one of my nurses took some blood to check the oxygen content and found out it was extremely low. The doc was worried about that and they took me to the Hospital where they did some scans on me and found out I had some blood clots in my lungs, they moved quickly to get me in the hospital and start meds to fight the blood clots before they had a chance to move to my brain and kill me.

In the hospital, I was given different types of blood thinners and once I was finally released, I now have to take a couple of blood thinners for awhile to prevent more clots and fight the ones I have. Not fun, but it was caught early and it prevented death, especially if a few more days had passed according to the Docs. Just another battle like my cancer that I'll fight and win, I'll be taking the pills for awhile, but each day I get better and feel stronger.

This last week, I also found out another side effect from the blood clots, my good leg, the left one has swelled up and been causing me problems.  The doc thinks it might be more clots or something else, but I have also begun treatment and therapy to take care of that also.  I'll be working myself hard to make sure I do what it takes to fix the leg.

On the good side, the chemo is doing it's job. The tumors that I've been watching with the Doc have been slowly shrinking. I have many more chemo sessions ahead of me, but the process is working.  I'll take another PET scan in a few months and from there we'll determine the next step, which will involve some radiation treatment for the tumor on my hip bone and then the plans for the operations, there will be several of them since we have so many tumors to remove, but this just means I'm one step closer to kicking this new round of cancers ass!

I'll be posting some new art soon, just have to finish up a couple of pics. I appreciate everyone's patients who is waiting on your commissions, they are in the process of being completed also.  I'm still going to be giving away that original artwork like I promised, I'll be posting some info on that soon. The cancer and these new battles with the blood clots have put me behind a little, but I'm slowly catching up and not allowing them to stop my art.

Thanks again for all the great support, I'll have more updates soon. I appreciate all the kind words and positive energy you guys provide, I promise nothing but good news over the next couple of months are I get closer to defeating this new battle with the cancer.  With each of this defeats, I think the cancer is starting to realize I'm not going to give up, the pain, nausea, puking and vomiting just make me more determined, I'm focused on what I need to do to win.

Like I said, this was just a quick update, but I wanted to let you guys know what I have been up. I'm now moving onto my 5th year and counting when it comes to this battle with the cancer. I have won each of the different battles over the years and by the end of this year, I'll be boasting my 6th win over the cancer, you guys can count on that. You guys have helped make it happen along with my family with your amazing support. It seems like this Cancer won't give up, but neither will I. Like I always tell you guys,  I've still got plenty of things to do and and people to piss off, so I'm not giving up. I've beaten this cancer 5 times before, so this is just another battle for me to win.
